Anything less than 3Ltr is an economy car

The entry list continues to get better and better. Following on from Aston Martin's confirmation that they will be racing at Le Sarthe this year, Jaguar have also thrown their hat in the ring and are entering a car in GT2.
That puts them in the same field with Porsche and Ferrari, It will be good to have a more extensive British field to cheer on - bring your Union Jacks  unitedkingdom and have the Dambusters on CD ready for the parade lap.

A bit of a dampener on this as it's an American team and drivers, so I wouldn't hold out much hope of it lasting the distance. Only thing British about that team is the name Jaguar and you could argue that's No longer British.  sadface

Better off keeping the Dambusters theme for when the Mansells go past in their Ginetta or the Drayson Racing Lola, British teams with British drivers in British cars. unitedkingdom

Their may also be a chance with the 009 Aston but with Darren Turner as the only named driver so far might not be able to give it the full British commitment.

The 007 and 008 cars are straight French and Swiss teams so no use for patriotism there.

Woooaa there!  Lets not get in to semantics - I am looking for every possible "British" victory available.
I agree with the Mansell team and love the fact that the driver list reads Mansell, Mansell, Mansell.
But Jaguar is a British marque (fingers in ears - laa laa laa).
Ason is a British marque.
McNish is piloting an Audi this year - British!

Mcnish is not yet confirmed for Le Mans only Kristenson is on the entry for the No 7 car, although I would expect the trio to be kept intact with Mcnish and Capello.

The good news is there is another British team to cheer on with 3 British drivers and they are in an Aston in GT2 unitedkingdom although it appears to be in some sort of sick yellow colour. You would think they would be realistic and actually paint the car in a colour that normal people are likely to buy it in  fishing

 Details on Autosport http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/81567

Former Porsche factory driver Richard Westbrook will race for the works-backed JMW Motorsport Aston Martin team in 2010.

Westbrook, who won last year's FIA GT2 title with the ProSpeed Porsche team, has signed up to race the JMW Aston Martin Vantage GT2 in the five-race Le Mans Series and the Le Mans 24 Hours. The 34-year-old Briton will share the car with JMW regular Rob Bell.

"JMW has an excellent history in the LMS and the full support of Aston Martin Racing and Dunlop," said Westbrook, who had a Porsche factory contract in 2008. "This drive ticks all the boxes, and I'll finally get to go to Le Mans."

Team manager Sugden, who will also drive the car at Le Mans, said: "We were looking for the best driver available and I don't think we could have got anyone much better than Richard."

JMW began its test programme with the Aston Martin Racing development car at the Algarve circuit in Portugal this week after a shakedown at Pembrey. It will get its own car in time for the official LMS test at Paul Ricard at the beginning of March.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again - I'm a trendsetter, you will all want Yellow cars soon, although there are not many people copying Robbo's particular shade of red Pink.
